omg ...my girl friend just sent this ...i have not tried it .....but i am tempted
lol

5 MINUTE CHOCOLATE MUG CAKE
You will need

4 tablespoons cake flour(plain flour, not self-raising),
4 tablespoons sugar,
2 tablespoons baking cocoa,
1 egg,
3 tablespoons milk,
3 tablespoons oil
3 tablespoons chocolate chips (optional)
a small splash of vanilla

1 lg. coffee mug

Add dry ingredients to mug, and mix well. Add the egg and mix

thoroughly. Pour in the milk and oil and mix well. Add the chocolate

chips (if using) and vanilla essence, and mix again.

Put your mug in the microwave and cook for 3 minutes at 1000 watts.
& nbsp;
The cake will rise over the top of the mug, but don't be alarmed!

Allow to cool a little, and tip out onto a plate if desired.

EAT! (this can serve 2 if you want to feel slightly more virtuous).

And why is this the most dangerous cake recipe in the world?

Because now we are all only 5 minutes away from chocolate cake at any time of the day or night!

Nicole had a similar recipe to this on her blog a little while back and I couldn't help myself - they are delicious. Even better with cream. None of this for me at the moment though!!!! Trying to get rid of the winter kilos!!
The one Nic had on her blog has self raising flour and is so light - YUM

Hey Sammi...I reckon you could get everyone that's going to the retreat to bring one ingredient each and we'd be set for a midnight snack:D:D...+ it's chocolate so according to you it's gotta be good:p

What a great afternoon treat for the kiddos on the weekend - something they'd be able to help with as well which would be more fun.
fabbo recipe sammi - seems really easy to make.

Maddy's just learnt to make pancakes - she saw the recipe on Jamie oliver the other week - and is proud as punch to make it up for her and the boys. LOL - she shoos me out of the kitchen when she's making it :D

Thats a really easy one as well.

cup of plain flour
cup of milk
and an egg

it's makes the thin traditional ones that you can either spread with jam or other filling and roll them up. Even I had one with some cottage cheese in it - yummo!!

yeah - thinner like a crepe.

tip though - just make sure pan is hot. We did the first one whilst it was still warming up and it came out rubbery looking. once hot though browned up nicely. LOL - I did the first one so maddy said it was just my cooking :D little turd!

Yep think this would be the same recipe that I had on my blog, I just used SR flour cause we didn't have plain, and it has to rise too, :D.

Just make sure you use a REALLY huge mug to cook the cake otherwise it'll expand and go all over the sides and the microwave turn table.

AND it tastes brilliant with chocolate sauce. :D, Luke and I usually share one.
