I treated myself on the weekend and brought a new camera

Canon 50D with a couple of lenses, 1.4 fixed 50mm and a 18-200IS.

I know I'm going to be saving to buy some more lenses cause damn the quality really does make a difference

Since Luke's forever buying 'toys' I thought it was my turn too.

Nic what are the main features with the 50D that attracted you to upgrade from the 400D?

Woohoo Nicole!!! Good on you!!! I just got my first SLR this year - it's a hand-me-down from my dad - a Nikon which is about 5 years old. I would LOVE to get a new one, but we just can't afford it with bubs on the way. I'm excited that i have something better than a point and shoot for taking photos of bubs though!!!

My new toy this year was a cuttlebug - love it!!

Hehehe, it's great isn't it Anthea?! The tricky thing is that you always want more dies and folders!! Do you have many?

Camera is going FANTASTIC.

Going to save and invest in some more lenses. Will take a while though I'm sure to save.




My cuttlebug is loved too, just not as much as it should be.
