My little bugger while on holidays told me I say too many swear words so told me when i come home I have to stop swearing. great timing NOT but i have taken up the challenge. I have a swear jar... its 50 cents each swear word and today I managed to drop $3.50...... the money will go towards our next holiday (he has requested Fiji...lol ... no arguements here :p). so the challenge is on....

Not only am I not allowed to swear, he tells me i need to go on biggest loser too :o In the middle of woolies he says 'mum you need to go to BL so your not fat anymore and you have to exercise and not eat junk food" who needs a husband,,, christ I have a dictating 6 year old

and if thats not enough he has also told my mum she needs to stop smoking. I like this one.... and im on his side.
So he took my mum to the chemist to get as he chanted
'nicabate, nicabate stop the smoke and you'll feel great' lol
god he makes me laugh!!

Out of the mouths of babes alright.... They certainly keep you wondering what they will come out with next alright.:rolleyes: An aspie will certainly blurt something out exactly as they see it with no thought as to if it might appear offensive or not. Gotta love em.

LOL Lorrie, you gotta love him. Yep thought about BL as well, just couldn't face being on tv, just not my cup of tea.

Good luck with the swear jar, you kinda wanna swear a lot so you can go to fiji, defeats the purpose a bit though doesn't it :D

I hope after writing your entry you went and put $1 in the swear jar.

Although I can't talk about anyone's potty mouth. :o:o I guess I could pay for a trip to England if I was to put all the money in a swear jar.

Good for Blaine Lorrie, this may just be the jolt you and your Mum need to get you both fit and healthy and without a potty mouth.;)

Going back to work Monday will definetely be a feat in its self.... gosh imagine if I had to pay for the swear words i think of... I would be broke in a day

LOL - out of the mouths of babes as they say.

My kiddo's did the swear jar thing to me about a few weeks ago as well Lorrie .... I'm not sure whether I should share .... but it's up to around $70/80 at the moment and I have the same 50c a word limit as you :o But it must be working coz I'm getting some interesting words out lately - fruitloops seems to be popular :D and we did have a disagreement on the word ass .... told them it was a donkey, they said not acceptable.

The little turdskies got me on my smoking as well - it's been two weeks now since I've had one and going well so far. The only condition I made was that I got to keep my normal 'smoking money' that I would of spent each week ... I've figured that money works well as an incentive for me as I like to watch it accumulate .... just need to decided what I'm saving for now.

stay strong on the smoking Julie. I have given up for over 17 years now. Always said I would never be one of those horrible reformed smokers, but......

You know, no matter how long you have given up, occassionly there is the odd moment when you think a ciggerette would be nice, but i've known so many people who think one won't hurt and suddenly they are back on them.

So be strong and when the urge hits drink water instead.

Thanks Lynne ... so far so good. Went cold turkey as I didn't want to give up any of the money for nicotine replacement treatments .... thinking I might stash each week's 'smoke' money and in a couple of months treat us a weekend away to the Gold Coast.
It's the hand to mouth habit thats hard to break - finding it more harder to keep unnecessary food out, so am drinking alot of green tea at the moment
:o might have to resort to ducktaping the mouth :rolleyes:
