Well the weather has certainly warmed up of late. It has been 30C here today and is still 28C right now. If it is this warm now I dread to think what the summer temperatures might be like. I am going to need to invest in some fans. Zac has already had the ceiling fan in his bedroom going today.

send some down here please... brr its cold and i just turned up the heater.
Last night at the footy we had jumpers, coats, hats and a blanket and plenty of fattening hot food like pie and chips... naughty I know but gosh it was cold.
Its about 12 here atm.... tomorrows top is 14 in Melbourne and 8 as a low... a little bit chillier here where i am... enjoy your warmth... Im terribly jelous

OMG no it's fabulous weather, as for what Summer is going to hold, who really knows hey. We're only having a 'heat wave' because of the current weather pattern. Never know next week could be back to being cold.

AHHHHH Lorrie. yuck. I'd be pigging out on pie and chips too. mmmmm, makes me feel like pie now, haven't had a good one in so long.

yep - it's really warm up here ... Rocky hit over 30 over the weekend. Took the kiddo's out to the causeway lake for some canoeing today - they had a ball. Little man Ry even took charge of his own canoe and got the hang of it really well.
Followed up with a swim at a nearby beach and fish and chips for lunch..... kiddo's all flaked really early tonight --- best part of summer play :D

Shane was on the phone to his inlaws and they said it was 32 in Mackay, once you throw in the humidity Im sire it was blooming hot! I can handle dry heat any day over humidity

Aaahhh Lorrie, you have to be thankful for every bit of rain we get. We need so much more......

Saw on the news this morning that Brisbane is heading for its hottest August day ever. At least when it's cold you can always keep adding clothes. Although I am jealous of you people doing beachy things.

And Melbourne is set for more winds......god I am getting crappy nights sleep at the moment.....between the winds that come barrolling (sic) down our little valley and my hubby's snoring I spend half the night awake.

oh poor you Lynne, looks like its going to be another hair raising night tonight. My house isn't too bad but one of the neighbours has something that bangs in the wind and that wakes me up

It is 31 here right now. Just been thinking that I am going to have start thinking about buying Kyle some summer pjs before too long if these temps keep up. A lady from the school rang me this morning to ask my permission to be able to drive Zac home as he had nearly flaked out at school this morning.

we've got the same kind of weather here too. y/day was a shocker - strong winds all over the place. it was the same today - to a lesser extent but we've been warned to batten down the hatches for a little long.

have i mentioned that I HATE WINTER :mad:

We're supposed to have a thunderstorm today but it doesn't look likely. This weekend is apparantly heading towards another scorcher for us.

Well I LOVE the cold and can't wait to move out to Amberley (Brisbane) where it actually gets a little chilly in Winter!!

I have missed Winter up here in Townsville the last couple of years! High 20's to early 30's in Winter is ridiculous!! I am really not looking forward to being heavily pregnant during Spring and Summer though!! Please baby be born a little bit early!! :D

With Hashies, I am permanently cold, the medication has made my feet warmer but I cannot let myself get too chilled as it takes days to warm up.

Definitely Ange. I hate feeling cold. My mother always likes to make fun of me as in the winter time I usually have both a summer weight and winter weight duvet on my bed. I like to feel snuggly and warm when I go to bed. If I am not warm then I will wake up with a cold chill in my back. I have always been that way my mother reminded me recently.

wow what freaky weather some of you are having .......it was awesome weather in brissy ...and great weather now ....but i do agree with nic ....iam a bit nervous about how hot it is going to get in summer ....and even thought i am a summer girl ....i am just a bit worried what is the cyclone season going to bring and how intense is the humidity going to be ...if this is how hot and insane the weather has been for this time of year .....i might sweat out enough to reach my 15to 20 kg goal by xmas

windy one here again today, and there is a big fire south of us too, they were talking about it all day yesterday on the radio, Shane is on duty today and said there are 5 helecopters out there now trying to fight it, these winds certinly wont help them

No electricty all day yesterday!!!! Got up to have a shower before I went to work and no hot water, so had to boil lots to have a wash.

I dont think it quite got to 35 here like last week today but still hot toady. I am so looking forward to moving back to Melbourne before the true summer heat starts up here in Brissie.
Crystal what a shame you are moving to Amberly when I am moving back to Melbourne. If you havnt had baby by then I might have looked after you at Ipswich.
