Do I know where you are comming from Sammi........As soon as I am run down up comes the cold sore and always in the same spot.

Cirvirax or whatever it is called from the chemist.....and there is a chemist own one too......works wonders espec it you get to it as soon as that feeling arrives.

Otherwise dab some purfume on it, not as good but it does dry it up.

Also I find that if I increase my vegi intake it helps too.

I got one a few months ago, first one I have had in years and it was striaght down to the all night chemist.

yeah i have been using that cream ..the chemist own one ...normally it knocks it ...but not this one ...it still has that start up pulse ...IYKWIM.....and my lip is so swollen i am drinking through a straw today...and now my throat is starting to hurt a little .....so i am taking some difflam for that .....but oh well i might take some multi vits that are higher in calcium, zinc and magnesium ..and you would think with all the healthy eating that my body will be doing great ......or maybe my body has shifted enough stored fat to start detoxifying ...i hope so cause i want to stay focused ....and feel improvements to me my soul and life

Oh Sammi, ouch

Zovriax, is the only one that will take away that "pulse" and Lysine tablets will help prevent you from getting another one

I used to get them all the time before I started getting the vit B injections

Your right with they why, your body is shifting gunk. Also a rapid change in temps can cause them to as can being run down

Once you have the Herpes Simplex A virus, i think it is, every time you are run down stressed etc a cold sore tends to pop up
Have had them since teens
Even in my nose - very ouchy i can tell ya
L-Lysine tabs work and Zovirax if you get the stuff onto it when it is tiny

ooh sammi, sounds painful
they are nasty things arent they
my mum gets them HEAPS, and both my sister and i get them every now and again

i have tried vit B tablets, lysine, lysine+B, zovirax, and countless others.

my best cure/prevention for the last 18 months is a little tube of PAWPAW cream.
most chemists sell a red tube? i have a black tube... (a few actually coz i keep losing them)

since using pawpaw most days, i have had ONE coldsore, as opposed to maybe six?

good luck chick
