Who in the scrapping world is your idol? Famous or not....Inquiring minds wanna know LOL
Famous scrapper who inspires me is Elsie...I can not scrap in her style but I just love that for her art is everywhere & she abviously loves what she does & it shows!
Not so famous, the girls who love their hobby. Those like Lorrie who are living out their dream. I adore AM's work for her funky twist. There are so many who inspire me I could not possibly list them all.

I would have to say I am a huge fan of Kelly my friend. I love her clean lines and her ability to put it all together ot give it that wow factor. She focus's on the photo rather than the style and I love it.
I love Elsie, not so much for her style, more for her imagination and creativity. Her book 52 scrapbooking challanges... (in store ;)) is awesome when you get into that scrap frump and the mojo is on holidays.
I love Annemarie and Alison Russell who are from another site. AM (or Binx:D) has the wow factor in her work. She introduces stlyes and techniques as well as items and can blend them perfectly. Ali on the other hand does the most gorgeous boy pages. Everything she does I envy. I can't say what it is in particular but you know when you look at someones work you think 'wow I love that' well thats me with her layouts.
Tezz is also a wonder. I have know Tezz for a little over a year and her style has really evolved. Your style has a real classic feel and you should be proud of what you do. I love that you put your heart into your work and I love reading your journalling.

I'm a big fan of Alison Shearer at the moment ... love her layouts, and her photography rocks. Also Celeste Vermeend ... they are awesome scrappers, and really great people too! Most of the people whose scrapping I really admire and inspires me a lot, tend to be people I've met, either online or in real life, who have touched me and inspired me with their outlook on life ... people like Fleurie, Relsi, Lisa Pate, Ali R - and heaps more that I know through other sites and forums who scrap for similar reasons to me, I guess, and who value the same things I do in my scrapping! Does that make sense?
(Are you happy you got a mention, fleur??? lol)

LOL ... that's ok babe! You inspired me with your Bodacious Boquet/ Dazzling Diamonds layout, and I've been loving your work for a while.
im with phatassphairy,
i tend to stalk......love different people for different reasons
Lisa Brown Caveney....her pages are always about the photos (love that) and her simplistic style. Joy Bohon......her journaling, from the heart without being to mills an boon. Cathy Zielski is another one of my favs. And my girl Lorrie, i have never know a person to be able to grab a pile of "stuff" that you sorta go thats not gonna go with that, and wallah, hey presto she has this layout that rocks :)
p.s
she (lorrie) has even set eyelets by beating them with her shoe.....lol :D

Way too many,
there is always something that catches my eye in everyone's work,
love seeing people evolve and change there style,
a few from other forums that I love,
one in particular is a chick called Jodie Leigh who has her first page being published in SC 47 so keep an eye out for that.

oh wow... you chickies will give me the ego the size of ummmm... something REALLY big!!! hahahahha
I am definitely in the "I can see inspiration in every LO I see" camp, even stuff that I wouldn't say was my style... like Tezzaa... I LOVE your style and it represents you so so well (which I think is the whole point don't you???) but I could never pull that style off IYKWIM??? Wish I could... but not gonna happen! hehehee
I also love Julie Heard's stuff and Sarah Gladman...
and Lali... you ARE becoming an IDOL chickie... your stuff just keeps getting better and better...
Lorrie you KNOW I love your style... and I promise I am NOT just being a suck up!!! LOL
Sammi... I love your LOs for their quirkiness and how they represent you... I would so LOVE to meet you girl! You make me laugh... oooooohhh.... wait a minute... just had a lightening bolt of inspiration here... ok so when is the Scrapbook Capital RETREAT?????????!!!!!! LOL C'mon Lorrie you don't need to crawl before you RUN!!! LOL
Nic's (nmpomeroy) stuff is getting REALLY funky too and I am loving it.
poppysmum was one of the (if not THE) first scrapper I would have called my favourite... as was Fran (scrapcat)... ScrapperMaz has gone from "not bad" to "OH MY FREAKIN' GAWD FATHER! THIS CHICK IS BLOWING ME OUT" in 12 short months...
MichelleW is another one I have just cottoned onto...
There are is so much talent and inspiration out there.
... as for the name dropping (hehehe) I got to meet Emily Falconbridge while she was home (did you know she is a Perth girl?)... and I love her stuff... to me that is what scrapping was MEANT to be about... just create and enjoy type thing.
Well... ok I KNOW I talk too much (jeez coulda bought my post tally up with this if I'd split it into 15 posts!!!!)...
THANKS again for the compliments... I REALLY, TRUELY appreciate it (promise I am NOT just saying that either! hehe)... and Sammi you can stalk me anyday chickie!!! hehehehehe

I like some of Elsie's layours but she is a bit too random for me. I like lots of Aussie/NZ scrappers work - Nic Howard, Ngaire etc etc oh and Lorries' layouts - especially the ones with her boy in them - and she knows i love them
:D
Yes Sammi , if there is Midori l will be there with bells on .:D
