Do you like to buy all the latest and greatest scrapbooking tools? What are your favourite must have tools and what are some tools that you might have bought that you haven't used or have even sold or given away?

I'm not really a tool person I don't think. The only tools that I can think of that I have are - sewing machine, usual paper trimmer and craft knives and such.
I do have a MM die-notch tool that I got as part of a product challenge from Scrapbook creations - but I haven't used it since the challenge.
Also just scored the Cutterbug cutting system from Scrapbooking Memories, also for a product challenge - but again, can't really see myself using it again.

Good thread - gonna keep an eye on everyone's responses so I can see what gizmo's you all have and how often you use them.

like Julie I only have the standard, was going to buy a craft robo, but we couldn't see the sense in paying $700 for something that may not get used very often.

anything that I want to do the trusty old sissors will cut for me.

cutter and scissors here too. I have a paper piercer i scored from a swap from Tezz that i love and my push pad too. i also have a crpping frame and i love using that for smaller pics. The only way i would spend $$ is on a cutting system that cut chipboard..... sick of buying alpha and never have enough letters to use them all

I have a fiskars shape cutter which I haven't used overly much but I see that it was being promoted by several stands at the Quilt and Craft show.

Lorrie what is the cropping frame that you mentioned. That sounds like it could be a handy tool.

I have the paper trimmer, I just got a really good one with a rotating blade, my hammer, eyelet punch and setter, knives and my fiskar sissors, I use those almost every LO.

I have a sewing machine (that has never touched material) and I also got a circle cutter, it was great till Wesley got to it and snaped 2 of the blades, and now I think I accidently cross threaded the thing when I was replacing the blade and it wont work properly for me. need to find a new knife for it actually, but its great. OH and I also got one of those fiskar cutters ages ago, like about 3 or so years ago, that I dont use, you know the thing you can use to trace around the templates, stupid thing

Thanks so much for sharing the info about these rulers Lorrie. I would definitely be interested in purchasing one if you are able to source them.
