I was reading an article in the Latest SCRAPBOOKS ETC magazine (USA).AUG/SEP 2007

In every ISSUE they ask a question and then print readers responses.
This editions question was:

What's the MOST Challenging subject for YOU to scrapbook???
The top 5 answers were:

1. MYSELF
2. LOST LOVED ONES
3. HOLIDAYS & BIRTHDAYS
4. HERITAGE ALBUMS
5. BAD DAYS

Im going to challenge myself and choose ONE of the above criteria to SCRAP about....Who else is up for the challenge????
I will get Lorrie to make a folder in the gallery for us

no worries Fleur. I do have have somting in mind once the ABC challange is over.... it has a little to do with this so stay tuned....

I agree with those answers. I have been scrapping myself lately and I must say i find it pretty easy.
Christmas kills me every year. I seem to collect photos every xmas and never get around to scrapping them.
Lost loved ones, definetely.... I have been doing an album each for my mum and nan that seem to be falling together easy BUT I have tried scrapping pages for myself of my Dad and it has to be perfect. I think its because there is no way to get those precious moments back as well as the emotion behind the memories... ok.. enough of that, don't need me tearing up...:(
Hertitage!! not a fan. I like looking at others work but hate doing it myself.
and last of all bad days..... never scrapped them really but might think about it next time i've cracked it or Blaine is having a tanty... Actually took a great shot of Lauchy today spiting the big one!!! lol

Yep can't do 'christmassy' pages, so far last years christmas pages include Charlotte pushing her new pram down to mum and dads, my big fat preggy belly and Charlotte wrestling with her teddy bear.

Have no trouble with pages on myself, been doing alot of them lately.

Having an off day, What are your talking about???? backgrounds photos layouts all rolling into one.... blah:D

Most of my photos were taken either sitting at the computer (so you see all of Lukes 'mess' behind me) or standing in the door way (and you see all the trees and grass behind me)

i find it hard to do boy lay outs.....the girlie layouts just seem to get together in a jiffy ...but boy lay outs are a bit of a struggle.....i find creams and pastels a challenge too ......but because there is a move in the air i am trying to use my stagnant stash ...every lay out has something "dickie on it"....and i am doing a holiday album from 2001....so i am trying to use older things ...like stickers...that i just loved and was a must .....now it's like .:eek: ...WHAT WAS I THINKING!!!!..but i am finding it a bit of a challenge....also i am being very good with this dagged up album...and using my old mag from 2004ish ....doing one or two pages out of it ...and throwing it away ...i really have to cut down on my rot i am going to move ...lol....

great idea using all the old stuff Sammi. My ABC album is all scraps. I am not going to cut a piece just for something like that.

Maybe a challange to use our old stuff or scraps might be on the cards ;)
