..and yes Fleur, I think the 1986 photo is a real ripper, lol, I had some shocker hairstyles in the past, mum even had my sis and I with some boy haircuts, short as anything and no style what so ever,what was she thinking....:eek:!! I had a hard time getting some decent photo's of me as most of my photo's have discoloured and faded, damn I must be getting old...:eek:

Lorrie sent me some more super yummo Kaiser paper to play with ..... this time the 'Thrill Seeker' range and here are some layouts that I've created with it.
Initially you'd think this was a real boys range of papers but they really are so versatile. I've done one layout on Nick......he's such a little spunk isn't he lol ...... and the other layout was on both maddy and nick strutting their stuff!! The red and blue Kaiser bling are perfect matches to this range and really helped finish off each layout. So head over to the store and check them out!!!

I also got to play with Kaiser's new sublime range of papers.
Love that it's an old style pattern yet with a funky new twist of lime green - was perfect for this really old photo I had of my father's family .... he's the young boy up front so it's about 45 years old roughly.

So if your planning on working with some old heritage style photos don't let the green in this paper scare you - I think it's a perfect suit to these style of photos.

I also had a sheet of the funky KI memories lace cardstock to play with. Normally I would of teamed it with the Kaiser papers in the above layout but really was happy with the more plain design with the old pic - so I used the lace cardstock on another layout.
Found it was perfect with this earthy theme ..... I gave the cardstock a slight inking with an old black inkpad to tone the red down a little to better suit the earthy tones.
The KI lace cardstock is perfect for framing pix I reckon. Try altering it's shape if you'd prefer something a bit different to a rectangle frame - it's brilliant to cut into circles, stars, border strips - anything you can think of really!!

Just before we left for Redcliffe, Lorrie send me some of these absolutely gorgeous 'Flutterby' papers by Kaiser. They are so feminine and pretty and I couldn't wait to work with them. Hiya guys - here's my work using the 'Photo Friendly' range of Kaiser papers from the store.

Decided to do an OTP item and came up with this book album holder. The pages have been glued together and a section cut out to hold the Kaiser circle tag album. The books trimmings were maroon in colour and suited the earthy tones of the Photo Friendly range perfectly. Have covered the mini album in these papers as well - just haven't finished it off as not sure what to include in the mini.
Not the best pix sorry - too dark and gloomy here so they are inside pix.

Decided to tackle an OTP item this time round so altered a Maya Road handbag mini album for my gorgeous little niece Brylie. I saw a similar Advent calander in a kit form from another site and thought I would do my own. I cut the little boxes with my Cricut and decorated them with the gorgeous Kaiser range of Chrissy papers (mainly Countdown), Kaiser stamp and rhinestones and then attached the little boxes to a canvas.

Little more Kaiser love to share guys.

First up is a kaiser clock that I've used the gorgeous 'Sweets' range of papers on. LOL - actually since we were making the clock for Maddy's room she was the one that decided that we 'had to' use this paper range.

Now be prepared for a very blinged up and sparkly piece of work, whenever Maddy's helping me on a project is sure to include heaps of shine to it :D

There's also a range of other fabbo Kaiser product that we used on the clock:

I have also created a layout using the new 'Lovestruck' also by Kaisercraft. This layout was done for the challenge Hetty set in the Cyber Crop - papers were perfect for the red with a heart theme :)

Ok when I first saw this book I thought - what the - but then I got the Babushka dolls out and Zoe had a great time counting them and taking them apart so what was I to do put take heaps of photos. I decided to make a Counting book and I really like how it turned out. The papers are so bright and happy. This will be on its way to you on Monday after I finish the layout Lorrie - hope you like it.

today is the official launch of the latest kaisercraft collections! :D

my prize pack (from the cyber_crop competition) featured the pina colada collection papers. a whole lotta very bright colours and a myriad of patterns!

have uploaded my LO to the gallery.
