Your Scrapping Space

Where do you scrap? I was interested in everyones scrapping haven & how you store your products..are you tidy or messy?Do you have your own room or do you scrap on the kitchen bench?Tell me ..tell me I would love to know as I'm in the process of cleaning my scrap room.I find I buy new stock and then put it away and forget about it..:rolleyes: I'm normally a tidy person but when it comes to my scrapping I'm sooo MESSY...
My table is covered with bits and pieces I end up scrapping on my lap:o.
Help! I need some organising advice ...:eek::o:rolleyes..

I haqve a whole room to scrap in. I tidy it every few weeks, but I am a messy scrapper so it is often untidy!!!

Yes please share as I would love to see where you scrap and what storage works best for you. As for me I have to share the dining room table and don't have my own scrap space so to speak. I have just ordered Kaisercraft cardstock storage from Lorrie that I have to find a space for and if that works out then I intend ordering more.

well as we are in a new house I have a new space, BUT it is still under construction, well mostly set up but I am going to get a new set of shelves to put on my desk and then off to office works to get some of their funky storage stuff, and once it is done, in a few weeks, I will be set!

My space is a constant work in progress :rolleyes: I'm on uni holidays REALLY soon and plan to revamp it a bit more but here it is so far. The first thing I need to get rid of is that chair ;)

The 4 storage containers on the bottom have 1) Paint/brushes 2) empty ready to fill ;) 3) and 4) Chipboard alphabets.
The 4 white containers have embellishments in them. I have just bought them and haven't had time to sort them and label them properly yet.

The 2 black drawer thingys hold more embellishments and flowers and inks, all sorted by type (I love these!)

This is my Rub Ons folder. I love this too. I bought it from the Warehouse and it was full of playdough and playdough utensils. It was reduced to $2 because there was 1 tub of playdough and one utensil missing! My daughter thought I was the best mum in the world and I love it for storing my rubons in!

What a fabbo scrapbooking space you have and an awesome collection of goodies. Thanks alot for sharing. Makes my meagre supplies pale in comparison. LOL.... One of the things I miss the most is being able to leave out a layout in progress so it is ready to be worked on when ever I can grab a spare moment.

Fleur is very organised..... Suzie is a lot like me...;) Kelly has a very very clever area.... and you wanna see stuff... crap she could open a shop....and the amount of times i tell her to pull her finger out to scrap....:rolleyes: what do you do....
I will try and get a little organised and take some pics over the weekend....

Man, some of you ladies can really organise. I have the room for sure, but just can't seem to organise all the stuff to save my life. It's all scattered and so some stuff never gets used.

I like your paper rack Nicole - didn't know those shelves came in black, makes it look a whole lot better than the white versions I've seen for some reason.

I have more then I will ever use. I have more then what is in those pics now. They were taken in Sept. The pp rack is so full & on top is all cs. THe other space I didnt take pic of cos when I got the flower storage pic the battery died. I have a large lamp table behind where I was standing where i do all my scrapping. There is a HUGE papercraft tote full there too LOL

Well here is my scrapping space - nothing flash by any means. Is an 'L' shaped room - goes round the corner at the end to where the computer area is.

The floors are supposed to be getting done so that it is polished floorboards like the rest of the house (I think a little old Nana had a big part in choosing this vinyl :eek:) and then a coat of paint hopefully - that should go a long way in making it look a little better.

My biggest issue is storage - well organisation more to the point. I like to find old pieces of furniture and then do them up a little - but have only done the two pieces so far lol. It's finding places for the little things that i struggle with. Would also love to find a huge old wooden desk, no luck there so far though.

Thank you so much everyone for sharing your scrapping space. Makes my smalll scrapbooking stash pale in comparision to what everyone else has. Daryl has been moaning when I mention wanting to buy some scrapping supplies but nothing is more frustrating than wanting to create something and you are always needing something to complete the layout that you don't have in your stash.

shaz ...i live in a very small town ...so when i buy ..i like to get my supplies up .....but i have been making cards for over 12 years and scrapping for about 6 years ......so that is alot of time to feed and fatten up the stash .... i now tell family members that insist on buying me a gift ....don't bother unless it is scrap supplies ...and the kids always get me something for xmas and birthday that is for scrap supplies......lol.....well that is my excuse ....and i am sticking to it ....:o

Lol Lorrie...that is exactly what I was like when we went up to Rockhampton and stayed with Julie in April. I don't know how many times over the week I just to wander thru her area and have a looksie at everything...it's just awesome and so roomy!!

Have the radio set up and spend most of my evenings in there once kiddo's have gone to bed. Steven's usually just round the corner on the computer so I can still chat if i want to.

Most times though I'm in my own little zone, bopping away to music and creating something.
