3rd orrientation at school
Macca's for lunch
Drop him off at Kinder
went to work
Pick him up
then get stuck in really bad traffic with accidents every where

so instead of waiting in traffic, we went grocery shopping so no excuse but scrap scrap scrap tomorrow night...

thanks lali, Blaine isnt sick. The Kinder wanted him to have a speach assessment and the bloody council wouldn't except our appointment because I have put in a temp booking for school next year. Moorons i tell you. what if he does have a speech problem and I choose not to send him to school because of it, how would i know with that kind of attitude, so anyway the Dr gave us a referal to somewhere else so we will see. I don't think I have anything to worry about. Like most kids he sometimes miss pronounces words like
look - wook
yellow - lellow

but he has had a hearing test and all perfect and I think he can sometimes be lazy.... best to check i guess.....

what annoys me is I questioned it in the beginning of the year and nobdy would listen so i had his hearing done. Now they (kinder) start asking questions, right in the most important part of the year.... Im just his mother, i know nothing.... :rolleyes::mad:

as for me...i was out and about today
went to a market research event this morning for Kraft Singles...went for 1.5hours and we got paid $90 + 2 packs of cheese....:D
I then went to visit a friend...and lauchie had a play with riley...

well swim season has started for my kids......and on monday, wednesday, thursday......shelby swims from 5.30 am til 7.00.
Every day during school hols Shelby swims from 8am til 9.30am, (yep that is right one hour break for her from the early morning sessions), gemilla swims from 9am til 9.30, hayden swims from 9.30 til 10.15....... so yesterday i was at the pool from 5.20 am ...til 10.30am ......(( and i even took my page for the "B" and did some of the hand stitching ...lol))
dropped hayden out at his mates place for a bit of motorbike riding.....
picked up gemilla's friend...
went and did the groceries..
put them away ......
then my sister (i haven't seen her in 2 1/2 years)turned up for a couple of nights.....so we had a lot of catching up to do......
we stayed up way to late (((might of had too many drinks :D but hey we are all on holidays))
and today i am not going to be on much cause we are going to take the kids, my sister, and her man fishing.(((hope to catch a barra!!!))

Still stewing on the layout i started last night....
went to the fire brigade open day and then took my mum to hospital. She had a bit of a fall.... 4th for the week and is in agony,All tests are clear so they are keeping her over night.for a 55 year old lady, she looks so old and fragile like an 80 year old lady..... well its the best place for her...shes had a lot of problems since the accident and loosing Dad and nobody can do anything about it apart from herself....
Anyway... want to finish this layout i started yesturday, plus another, cook a cake, and risotto for tomorrow and if i can be bothered, do a little bit of ironing.

I had a neighbour pop over last night with some free movie tickets to see The Game Plan today - couldn't resist a freebie. After the movie we headed over to the local shopping centre for a looksie and a coffee. Then popped down to see some lovely ladies that get together to scrap every month (hiya Karen and crew!). Kinda kept me out of the house all day.
And then hubby claimed the comp tonight - have only just managed to claim it back. But I was scrapping away on a cool OTP item - will share when I can get some pix.

We had a family outing today as it is the last steam train ride for the year so we decided on the spur of the moment to go. We spent a most enjoyable hour riding on the steam train around Brisbane. On the way home we stopped off at K-Mart for Zachary to buy something I had told him I had seen there the day before only to find that it had since sold so instead ended up buying a guitar for his PS2 instead. Daryl was muttering away about hadn't we already organised his Christmas gifts which we have but I am sure that he is going to have lots of fun playing this during the holidays. Not going to be many gifts for Zac to open Christmas morning but there will be quite a bit of value though.

Yep me too... absolutely RS..... My week has been full on and its not over yet... roll on Monday....

Monday - normal day of work
Tuesday - Swimming, work, pick up BBQ, out for lunch, made Sandies special puds, had Stamping up party and in bed at 2am
Wednesday - all day at work (long day) picked up 80% laybys, dinner and put up the BBQ bed time 1.30
Thursday - Orientation day, bank, post office, uniform for school next year, work, picked up kaiser order, dinner, uploaded products and set up orders. bed time 2am
today - deliveries, bank, work, bank, work, kinder, mums, kinder concert, back to mums, pick up both my neices, got home 9.30, did NIT treatment %$&$*^%%($^#&%^ now washing, kids just in bed 11pm (bloody hell) and now here....

My friggin eyes are hanging out of my head....if those kids are up before 8 tomorrow i am going to break they god damn necks....

wasnt too bad this morning, they woke up at 7.30... We are off to Fountain Gate for hair cuts and santa pics too.... We've just gotten home now - that was a HARD five hours, so many people in the shopping centres and whilst the kiddos were actually pretty good :eek:;):D, was a little hard to keep tabs on them at times. But we got the santa pix done - won't get to pick the disk up till Monday though, got a couple more pressies done and then had lunch at the Botanical gardens and a walk around the zoo - got too hot for anything else so we came home.
Steven got his nap, kiddo's got some fresh air and now mum's getting some of her own time :rolleyes::D

Luke's been on night shift all this week too, it's completely flipped me out with what i usually do during the day. and it's just too stinking hot here right now to do anything. So scrapping has gone to the wayside, and I just feel slack and unmotivated.

We've spent all day just lazing around watching movies with the kids.

Plan on hitting Rocky next Saturday, think it's going to be a madhouse. Thankfully mum's going to look after the kids for us.

I was telling Shane on friday night I didnt feel well, half an hour later.....

then I get to bed, and was up and down all night long.

I finally got out of bed at 1 in the afternoon yesterday, cant believe I was in bed that long, made it as far as the shower and had to go back to bed again, and there I satyed till 7 this morning.

I was actually very lucky Shane was home, cause he wouldnt have been able to get time off work other wise, he is currently on a course, that if he passes he gets a desk job for 2 years, so he needs to be there.

Same things happened to me Anthea...we have a 3 person presentation first day back after the holidays...all last week and today 1 of our people wasn't there and we only have friday and next tuesday of school before the holidays. So we brought it up today in class and LOL our teacher told us - and others who are in the same situation - to just drop the other person from the team and do it as a pair...basically she said stuff em if they can't turn up to class then it's not our fault and she definately won't penalise us for it :D:D Now i'm just sort of hoping that she doesn't come back before the holidays cause then we have to explain it to her :o:o But our theory is...we've put in a LOT of hard work into this presentation and she's done NOTHING so why should she get a free ride??

We have been offline with no power, phone and internet connection. Zachary was starting to stir crazy without being able to use his computer. I asked him what is the first thing he would do once we finally got the power back and he said go on my laptop which is precisely what he did do. Did him good though to get a reality check that life still does go one without all the modern conveniences that you need power to be able to operate.

I know I've been really quiet online lately as well. Not sure why to be honest - just seem a little down/motivationless ??
Kinda just curl up on the couch and stick my nose in a book - even Steven's said I'm a lot quieter than normal - so hopefully I snap out of it soon. Can't seem to muster up the same enthusiasm for things I used to have ... even thought about ditching the gym this morning which is something I normally look forward to.

Have to go in for the day surgery tomorrow for tonsils and adrinoids so will be off for a couple more days - but hoping that with some rest I'll be back to normal afterwards.

Don't worry Jules, I think we are all in the same kind of mood at the moment. Coming down from the retreat and xmas around the corner, life is so go go go and i think we all need to put the breaks on and enjoy a bit of normality once in a while.

Good luck with your op tomorrow and take a B vitamin supplement as sometimes not having enough can make us lovely ladies feel very flat!! Plus its okay to feel the way you do, round trip to rellies that you are now missing and the retreat and now the op. Lots on your plate. Don't give up the gym, I did that (to tired to do anything) and now 6.5 kgs later I am going to have to get my tiny butt into gear to get it off (or as much of it) before Chrimble

I had a blood pressure test and blood test done yesterday - my blood pressure is pretty low so am wondering if this is the cause of the 'flatness' plus the other things on top - missing family and friends etc. Gonna do some reading online I think and see if I can find out what causes the low blood pressure.

mmmmmm, now when I go into hospital for an op I insist that I get to speak with the post op nurses. I won't be operated on until I have. Why you ask?

Cause I am the rudest, loudest, and most violent person with the most filthiest mouth (and I mean filthy) when I come out of anaesthetic, so I go and apologise before hand. :o:o:o Not proud of this and I don't know what causes it, seemingly when I was a child and had many ops on my eyes, I was told I was exactly the same without the rude words of course :eek:

I have a million things on at school so I come home cook, get stuff ready for the next day and then crash....... this term AThletics Day for the District schools AND Cross Counntry are both on within weeks of each other ( usually Aths is in Term 3) so i am flat out training kids and preparing all the other things for those days as well as trying to teach PE all day as usual... class teachers are always whinging about how hard they have it ( and they do work hard ) ... but man i dont sit down , check an email or anything cept at recess and lunchtime maybe!! They do get some down time to do stuff while the kids are working ... not me!!

What have I done today............

Got up early and finished off an assignment about the value of research..... won't say anymore or you may lose the will to live.

Planned the next assignment due on the 15th of this month but I want to get it finished by Tuesday evening which will give me a couple of days to have some R & R before work starts full thortle next Monday......

Completed my entry for Nina's CJ which was fun and I am ready to do my entry for the "pass it on challenge"

Geoff is cooking up a storm, Thai chicken soup and Leek and potato, I am not supposed to have the Leek and potato one, plays havoc with Fred but he makes it soooooooo beautiful that I will just have a little bit now and again so as not to make me too ill

Now I am off to have dinner and then do the challenge

well my baby turned 2 on Saturday (photo on my blog) and the older 2 had a party next door to go to. I also dropped a Design Team position this month so I was enjoying not HAVING to scrap and had a bit of fun with some papers and trying the art of Layering, not that great but getting there. All of this and some housework inbetween.

We spent a week on the Sunshine coast and got home today. Gorgeous weather, too much food, lots of sight seeing and spending quality time with the family and in laws. As much as I loved it I am glad to be home close to my computer.

Well I've been super busy at work, the accounts payable girl is away so I have that to do as well as receivables and end of month balancing.

Friday night was the gymnastic sleepover, so I spent all day chained to the sewing machine as they are always fancy dress. This year I had to make a bird costume. Quite pleased with the way it turned out.

Have had no internet for over a week now. So frustrating.....hope I don't loose connection before I upload all this typing.

Had a pretty quiet weekend just the general housework, grocery shopping, washing. All that stuff that you fit into the weekend.

Looking forward to this Friday as I am off for a days shoping at DFO with a girlfriend and DD and her DD.

Now let me just see what i can recall about my weekend on the 4th and 5th hmmmmmm...

Oh yes woke up about 9:30 to the gentle lilting of the boat, showered and then went to the buffet for a brekky of fruit, cereal, yoghurt. No dishes to do ahd a lovely steward take those all away for me. Sat and read a while on the balcomy of my cabin, had lunch - again in the buffet ( got over it later in the week as toooo much to eat there!!), went to the ice carving demo, sat around the pool and watched the kiddos Mocktail making at the bar, shopped at the duty free shops on board, went to a fun Trivia game and sipped on a cocktail, booked a time for dinner at the restaurant, after a dinner of smoked salmon, risotto, Blue eye and honeycheesecake I chilled out up on the top deck for a while. I did get locked out of my cabin ( in my PJs ) later that evening - whole other story to tell!! Sunday Up oh about 9 when my room service breakfast arrived, took the tender boat over to Divine Island , found a shady spot and admired the beautiful view, went for a stroll along the shore, enjoyed the barbeque lunch, had a kip in the shade, went for a swim/snorkel with my neice, back on ship listened to the piano player in the Promenade bar, sipped cocktails whilst playing a Pictionary game with 11 others, dinner tonight was salmon and dill quiche followed by Veal tortellini in pesto sauce, Bassa filletrs and apple charlote to finish, formed a team for Moviemusic theme trivia - and we won, watched the laser show and headed off for some sleep:D:D
